Overhanging Hedge

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3328829.

A hedge on the junction here coming off the A1 onto Empingham Road has broken and is practically hanging into the junction.

Various cars and lorries over the last several days have scraped the hedge and bits of vegetation is spralled across the A1 & the junction. Can the hedge be cut back and or removed to prevent damage to vehicles and prevent presenting a safety risk to live lanes and the junction?
