Obscured A38 sign south bound

Reported via mobile in the Sign issue (NH) category anonymously at 08:04, Sat 19 February 2022

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3324677.

A38 sign on south bound carriage way heading up Haldon Hill towards Exeter Racecourse. The sign is covered in algae/moss, it is hard to read during the day and impossible to read as night even when lit up. This has been like this for several months. Contractors had been working in the area, clearing vegetation, but they haven’t cleaned any of the road signs.
