Updates

  • Thank you for contacting Nation Highways regarding the trees along the A1.

The trees have exhibited a mortality rate higher than expected. The first planting failed with 90 percent of mortality rate and we replaced all the trees the second time. Unfortunately, that also resulted in a higher mortality rate.

You may find it reassuring to know that we’re going to undertake a survey in spring time to determine the reasons for such a high mortality rate in the same location. We’ll look into the root cause after the results of the survey and replant accordingly.

Thank you again for contacting us.

    Kind Regards National Highways
