Sent to National Highways less than a minute later

There is smashed glass on the underpass and generally everywhere on the bike track. I travel from spondon to victory road every day to work. I have had 4 punctures in a week. Its now pretty much impossible to use the bike paths on this route because of people smashing beer bottles everywhere. Could a sweeper regularly clean the bike path and Harvey road. Thanks

  • Thank you for your enquiry regarding glass. There is no glass present on land owned by National Highways, but there is some within the ownership of Derby City Council.

  • No glass under there today. However there is concrete spalling and exposed reinforcing bars on one of the concrete beams visible from the path underneath. I hope this is on your watch/repair list.
