Large sign on double posts for clean air Zone

Reported via desktop in the Sign issue (NH) category anonymously at 20:20, Mon 14 February 2022

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3311605.

Dear National Highways I assume you are aware that The Greater Manchester ULEZ scheme has now been put on hold the clean air zone signs that have recently been erected on the M61 on the approach to the Junct 6 (Horwich) offslip are showing incorrect dates and information these signs are at several offslips that allow entry to the 10 boroughs of the Greater Manchester area. The effect this is having is detrimental to the Greater Manchester business community I have had several calls from my suppliers saying due to the charge of £100 to deliver a £20 item they are not going to deliver to my business I have had to keep telling them the plan has been delayed and the date is not correct but many have said sorry no delivery. These signs need to be removed as they are not compliant with the ULEZ plan as it stands. Kind regards

W Holden ( Retired Highway Inspector ) Bolton
