Updates

  • Thank you for contacting National Highways regarding redundant roadworks equipment on the A1. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention.

We carry out redundant roadworks equipment removal on a bi-monthly basis, however due to the volume of roadworks across our network it can be difficult to identify which equipment needs to stay or be removed. I have now informed the route inspector that the equipment here appears to be redundant, so it will be removed at the earliest opportunity.

Thank you again for contacting us. If you need more information about this, please feel free to contact our Customer Contact Centre on 0300 123 500 or by email at info@highwaysengland.co.uk.

    Kind regards

    National Highways
