Crash debris for over two weeks now and traffic lights not in sync with roundabout lights ahead
Reported via desktop in the Traffic lights (NH) category anonymously at 15:51, Wed 9 February 2022
Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3300982.
1. There is RTA debris on the short V shaped pavement between the M67 and Manchester Road after Alphagate Drive (to the right of Alphagate where traffic cross over to join the queue for the roundabout). It has been there for weeks now and has been pushed around the road.
2. Also the traffic lights at the end of the M67 show green when the ones ahead to enter the roundabout show red. No one can go anywhere, in particular traffic crossing from Manchester Road to get into lanes 2 and 3 to go around the roundabout towards Ashton and Hyde, as the motorway traffic keep coming through a green light even though they can clearly see the one ahead is on red. A yellow box junction is required here. It is an accident waiting to happen and has been reported multiple times by myself and other people who work on Alphagate Drive. Our daily nightmare this junction. The KEEP CLEAR box at the exit of Alphagate Drive could do with repainting as well because it is very faint and traffic drive into the box causing yet another problem to exit Alphagate Drive.
