A52 speed limit change signage eastbound.
Reported via mobile in the Sign issue (NH) category anonymously at 08:50, Wed 9 February 2022
Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3299567.
On the route from QMC towards Clifton there are no larger change of speed limit signs on both side of the road or on the road surface to show where the speed changes from 40 to 50 mph. Along the route there are the very small speed-limit signs on the central reservation only, which are insufficient.
In contrast, on the opposite side of the road there are the larger signs on both sides, and on the surface of the road to indicate the change from 50 to 40 mph.
This issue has been present for a few months since their were roadworks in this area.

There is now a temporary sign on the left of the road (weighed down with sandbags) but no permanent sign.
