Numerous pot holes

Reported via mobile in the Pothole (NH) category anonymously at 06:35, Tuesday 8 February 2022

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later

Between junctions 6 and 8, both northbound and southbound, there are a number of pot holes at present, mostly between 8 and 7 southbound, I assume most of them are caused by the roadworks. I drive this way to and from work every day, mainly in the dark, and it consistently involves trying to avoid them all and when I do hit one constantly watching my tyre monitors to see if they are flat.

Updates

  • Thank you for contacting National Highways regarding the condition of the road surface on the M11 J6-8. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention.

The route inspector has informed me that we have full closures on at this location this week and the most damaged section of the road will be getting resurfaced. The remaining sections will then be repaired at a later date.

Thank you again for contacting us. If you need more information about this, please feel free to contact our Customer Contact Centre on 0300 123 500 or by email at info@highwaysengland.co.uk.

    Kind regards

    National Highways
