Old, not relevant, signage at roundabout

Reported via mobile in the Sign issue (NH) category anonymously at 18:13, Mon 7 February 2022

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3296179.

Signage at this roundabout says "new road layout ". The layout was changed in 2009 so surely must be redundant by now. Please remove it as it is not necessary and confusing. Thank you.

  • Thank you for contacting National Highways regarding redundant signage. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention.

The route inspector for this area has checked the site and advised me that the sign is on the A1308 and therefore belongs to Suffolk County Council, not National Highways.

If you wish to contact them regarding this issue, details for local authorities can be found by using the search facility at: www.gov.uk/find-your-local-council.

Thank you again for contacting us. If you need more information about this, please feel free to contact our Customer Contact Centre on 0300 123 500 or by email at info@highwaysengland.co.uk.

    Kind regards
