Underpass below rhe Clifton Bridge complex not lit

Reported via mobile in the Street lighting (NH) category anonymously at 17:51, Thu 27 January 2022

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3271854.

There are 3 underpasses beneath Clifton Bridge to grant access to the industrial estate and pedestrian access to the park and ride and bus services. Also the pavement leading to the bus stop next to Riverside Retail Park. The overhead street lights have been out or order for 2 years. It was reported to Nottingham City Council who passed it to someone else who said there was a fault with electricity supply to the lights. These underpasses and pavements are dark and exposed especially for vulnerable people thete are many wo en who work on the industrial estate and use rhe bus services and Park and ride. The underpasses have no lights lots of shadows and often badly littered. They also flood after rain and can take a couple of days to drain. I feel unsafe using them but l have to use them to reach my bus. There is also the issue of graffiti and unsavoury characters hanging around or spraying the walls occasionally. It's not nice to walk near them.
