Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3270664.

High levels of litter, large plastic sheeting, tyres, all wrapped in the vegetation . This seriously seems to have got out of hand, not the garden of England it once was!

  • Thank you for contacting National Highways about litter along the M2/A2.

    We’re aware of the litter issues along the M2/A2 and our service delivery manager is investigating how we can coordinate and arrange litter picking along this stretch of the M2/A2.

    I’ve been advised that we are working closely with Kier, our maintenance partner and have followed up with them to raise additional jobs to be carried out in Spring 2022. Currently, we've raised jobs for litter picking to be completed within the next three months along the M2/A2.
