The north west edge of the road has long sections of overgrown hedge forcing motorists over the white line in places, the footway on the west side as you turn the corner is considerably overgrown well withing 2.1m clearance. On the eastern side the hedge is also forcing vehicles out in to the road more than 1m however this is a lower use section as it only accesses the haldon cycle track and properties along this section, after speaking to two residence on the eastern section they both confirmed the overgrowth belongs to highways, along the southern section the cycleway needs lifting to allow 2.6m clearance. there is a couple of dead trees close to the carageway,
