Broken fence and gate

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3266071.

A section of fence and gate that gives access from Royal Oak Lane to the northbound carriageway of the M6 has been damaged and removed. The path and steps leading down from Royal Oak Lane to the motorway is being used as a gathering place for teenagers and children. Please arrange for the section of fence and the gate to be replaced and the site secured.

  • Thank you for your patience whilst our inspector reviewed your report.

    Our inspector visited the location and agrees that remedial work is needed to secure this fencing.

    As such, we're now programming in the repairs to this fencing and gate. While we wait for the work to be undertaken our inspector has put up orange temproary netting as a safety measure.
