Incomplete safety fence

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3265415.

On the A14 Eastbound just after the end of the orwell bridge the pedestrian safety fence is incomplete in parts and needs finishing and properly aligning in other parts . This was reported in November 2021 and shown as closed but the work has not actually been completed. This needs investigation as it is a safety hazard and also Highways Agency staff signed it off when originally installed then signed off the completion works which have not actually been carried out.

    Your concerns have again been raised with the team who are responsible for the maintenance of the bridge. They are aware that this is still an issue but are unable to provide a date for when the repair will be completed.
