No sign to notify of housing estate

Reported via mobile in the Sign issue (NH) category anonymously at 21:52, Mon 24 January 2022

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3264489.

Approaching the M5 roundabout on the A38 there is no sign to warn motorist that there is a residential estate on the first exit of the roundabout. The only sign approaching the roundabout advises the first exit is the M5 south slip road (junction 5). I live on the residential estate and have had several near misses trying to pull out of the estate onto the roundabout since the traffic lights were installed a few years ago as motorists approaching the roundabout accelerate onto the roundabout from the A38 if there is no traffic coming round the roundabout from droitwich direction. It is very difficult and dangerous pulling out onto the roundabout from Amplett Way due to the traffic lights especially in rush hour which seems to be getting worse.
