Indistinguishable road markings.

Travelling southbound, particularly in bright sunny conditions it is very difficult to distinguish the road markings and stay in the correct lane. Following the road widening scheme some cats eye remains and previous road markings are still visible and therefore make it almost impossible to stay safely in the correct lane. Possibly repainting the correct lane markings and further efforts to remove obsolete marks would be the solution.
