Approx 1 mile stretch on the north and southbound carriageways.

Reported via mobile in the Road surface (NH) category anonymously at 08:53, Sat 22 January 2022

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3258346.

The road surface is becoming increasingly dangerous since pot holes appeared over 12 months ago. The carriageways on both sides are suffering from subsided tarmac as well as deep potholes that previous patching has failed to rectify. The surface is now causing damage to vehicles and could cause a vehicle to loose control due to deep abrasions.

  • The road surface particularly north bound between A34 and M3 to the rail bridge is poor especially the inside lane. Please can this get fixed very soon as there is increasing risk of tyre damage and a build up of damage causing a failure of the tyre on ALR motorway could be lethal. A34 also major route for HGVs, is in need repair as a matter of urgency
