Location -- litter on roadside, in planted zone between kerb and adjacent railway fence.

Reported via desktop in the Litter (NH) category anonymously at 17:21, Fri 21 January 2022

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3257762.

Over 2021 a lot of litter has accumulated in the narrow strip of land (shrubs) next to the Southbound carriageway of the A 23. This is the section starting at the TFL (Croydon ) / Highways Agency (Surrey) boundary marker and going Southwards to Hooley. The worst section is the first hundred metres to the S of the boundary marker (wheer I have placed the green marker symbol) . Going S from this section, on the same side, there are pockets of rubbish at intervals along this side, particularly just before the signalled junction with "Pretty lane" where there is a layby or turning lane on the A 23.

Please could you get this whole length on both sides of the A23 checked and cleansed. Thanks !
