Faulty speed camera at Millside A590 Cumbria

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3244132.

This has now been reported on the Facebook page of Cumbrian Highways. Camera is repeatedly flashing. I was not driving over 60mph and got flashed this morning 16 January 2022 at about 9.45am. What happens if 8 receive a letter please?

  • Thank you for your report concerning speed cameras working incorrectly, the location will also need to be more accurate as the pin is located on the M60 and the description is placed on A590 on in Cumbria.

  • Good morning, this same camera was faulty Sunday 12th May 2024. I was travelling 0ast the camera around 7.30am at 58mph and the camera activated. I only assumed it was due to the overgrown trees surrounding the camera. John
