Sent to National Highways less than a minute later
Leicestershire County Council have informed me that are not responsible for the footpath adjacent to this section of road and jurisdiction falls to yourselves; as it falls within the land boundary of a trunk road - despite the street lights having LCC notices on them.
The street lights have been out of service for many years, making this section of footpath very dark, which is concerning in the winter months as it is a through fare from Kirby to Glenfield for pedestrians.
Thank you for your patience whilst our inspector reviewed your report. During the review our inspector has been to the location and the lamps are Leics County Council with their contact details clearly labelled on them. I will contact them on your behalf to have them looked into.
