Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3226097.
I didn't aquaplane there but other cars went past me and threw up so much water onto my windscreen that I couldn't see where I was going.

This is an on going concern on both sides of the carriage way. The drains are constantly blocked hence when it rains the adjacent lane as well as the on coming traffic gets temporary vision restriction which could cause accident which may result in fatal life loss. In my opinion the drains need to be updated and cleaned of debris constantly.

Another car spins out off control tonight, I reckon I’ve seen half dozen incidents due to this stretch from tollbar island to A46 island junction The company that did this particular stretch are to blame as no where near enough drainage

2 police cars blocking an accident involving 4X4 cars again due to flooding. About time someone took responsibility on the cleaning first to ensure drainage, if insufficient than get the contractors back to rectify. Is the council responsible for cleaning or the Highway agency?
