Sent to National Highways less than a minute later

When it rains it’s like a river over A45 , many accidents have happened here because cars aqua plane with the sheer volume of water, always same spot suggest check drains and investigate why it happens ,Also the central gully along this stretch of highway between stivichall island and toll bar island needs cleaning a lot of debris blocking central gully

  • Thank you for contacting National Highways about surface water.

We are aware of this and repair works are planned for the next few weeks. We do need to arrange for roadspace booking and traffic management so I'm unable to give you a specific date at present.
