Updates

  • We prioritise safety works, ensuring defects that are a danger to the public are repaired promptly. However, we are aware of the importance of removing graffiti as well as litter, and managing vegetation on the strategic road network.

If graffiti of an offensive nature is identified, we will cover or remove it within 24 hours. If non-offensive graffiti is identified it is removed as part of other maintenance. We have also committed to reporting graffiti to local authorities and businesses if the graffiti is visible from the strategic road network, but is not directly located on the network itself.
