Open reach/bt CW No.3 Current type cover

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3215649.

This cover on the lane travelling east, was repaired last year in October having been reported in Feb of 2021....... This appeared to have cleared the problem, hovever, the frame around the cover has sunk on the arriving end and is now bouncing on whatever foundation/framework that was repaired causing a loud banging each time a vehicle crosses over it. This as you know is a busy road and the problem will only get worse. It would be nice if yourselves and Openreach could co ordinate and have a proper repair/replacement done

  • This cover is now very loose and is rising several inches above road surface level when large vehicles travel over it. Aside from the noise issue, it is now dangerous to road users. This has also been reported to Notts Police mutliple times recently.
