Crater in road

Reported via mobile in the Pothole category anonymously at 11:59, Fri 31 December 2021

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later

There is a large and deep crater in the carriageway, immediately where a vehicles passenger side wheels would pass causing vehicles to swerve. Several vehicles have already been seen in the vicinity with flat tyres. Overnight a cone has appeared near the crater, but the issue needs repairing before there is a serious accident caused by either a vehicle swerving round the crater or hitting it and bouncing out into oncoming traffic
