All street lights on this roundabout constantly not workin

  • Thank you for contacting National Highways regarding lighting on the roundabout and slip roads at Howe Green. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention.

    I have contacted the lighting team who have advised that National Highways are responsible for lighting on the slip roads. At the last inspection we had a couple of random outages on the slip roads which will be addressed when we next have maintenance there. We will however be inspecting again across the network over the next couple of months and will check this location to see if the position has changed and if we need to bring forward repair works.

    The responsibility for the lighting on the roundabout lay with your local authority, who we believe to be Chelmsford City Council.
