Trees overhanging Porters Park (CM3 3BH) from A12

Reported via desktop in the Vegetation (grass/hedges/trees) (NH) category anonymously at 12:36, Fri 24 December 2021

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3197758.

The trees beside the A12 were planted 50 years ago when the road was built. They are now so big that they are hanging over the fence all along Porters Park and intruding in to the road by several feet. The whole fence along Porters Park is now obscured, the grass verge has almost disapeared and and the turning area, which serves No's 20 and 21, is around half its original size. These trees are all on the A12 side of the fence and are not in Porters Park. Please would you arrange for them to be cut back. Thank you.
