Mattress has just celebrated its 1st birthday !.on A45 !!

I reported this discarded double bed mattress on the verge of the A45 at Whitley, Coventry many months ago. Hence Google earth image. To my knowledge it has been abandoned here for at least 12 Months. Bearing in mind Coventry City Of Culture 2021 I would have thought the powers that be would have had it removed by now. Next to the new flagship prestige Business Park at Whitley. JS.

  • Received confirmation from Coventry City Council that case was now closed. Drove down A45 this afternoon and noticed the double bed mattress is still there.

  • I can report that after approximately 15 months the double bed mattress has now been removed from the verge of the A45 at Whitley Coventry. However the planks of wood with nails in still remain on bridge above A46 carriageway 200 yards prior to where the mattress was.
