Large pothole

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3175986.

Large pothole westbound in overtaking lane. Didn't even see it in the dark. Dangerous for car wheels let alone motorcycles.

    I have contacted the local route inspector who confirms that there have been a number of pot holes along this stretch recently, all of which have now been repaired.

    Potholes can be hazardous and we have processes in place to ensure they are made safe quickly. We also carry out frequent safety inspections where potholes and other defects are recorded. We then carry out repairs prioritising the most serious.
