Poor road condition numerous potholes on road

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3174938.

Road has numerous pot holes on the southbound slip road blackbrook hill to the A12. Pot hole has caused damage to my car and has burst my tyre and potentially cracked my alloy. Had to be recovered to nearest garage.

Updates

  • On 4th December pothole led to flat tyre and damage to wheel. Was with children. We required recovery vehicle. Pictures taken.

  • Thank you for contacting National Highways about the potholes on the road leading on/off the A12. We are sorry that you had to report this issue again.

    We have had several reports of potholes in and around the A12 and whilst the potholes have been fixed, this one wasn't one of them.

    The road leading to the A12 is the responsibility of your local authority and not National Highways. Could we please ask that you contact Essex County Council and report the issue directly to them via: https://www.essex.gov.uk/ roads-streets-and-transport
