Speed restriction signs in wrong place

A new roundabout has been installed in the centre of the M181. The stretch of motorway heading South from the roundabout has large, dangerous ripples in the surface which require drivers to slow down or they'll burst a tyre at 70mph. But the temporary speed restriction signs for 50mph have been put along the NORTH stretch of the motorway! I think the workers got the wrong message when they put them up.
