Pot hole on lane two on westbound

There is a massive pot hole on the westbound lane 2. As I drove on the A14 my vehicle struck the pothole and in turn has damaged my alloy and tyre.

    I have contacted the local route inspector who confirms that there have been a number of pot holes along this stretch recently, all of which have now been repaired.

    Potholes can be hazardous and we have processes in place to ensure they are made safe quickly. We also carry out frequent safety inspections where potholes and other defects are recorded. We then carry out repairs prioritising the most serious.
