Poor re-surfacing to shared footway/cycle path after works

Reported via desktop in the Road surface (NH) category anonymously at 09:31, Wed 8 December 2021

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3166623.

About two weeks ago there were some works being done on the shared cycle/footpath beside the slip road to the A27. The resurfacing is extremely poor - very bumpy and not flush with the rest of the surface. This is the case in two locations very close together - a large area covering about 80% of the width of the path as you approach the brow of the small hill (travelling eastbound), and then a strip across the whole path as it begins to slope downwards.
