Large pothole in middle lane

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3161665.

Joining the M53 traffic I could not avoid a large pothole in the middle lane. It has punctured my off side tyre which has only been on the car 5 days!!!! I managed to leave the motorway and get assistance. Replace the slashed tyre with a new one, at some cost. Through no fault of mine own, would it be unreasonable to expect some compensation? This could have caused a terrible accident.
