Controlled pedestrian crossing not working

Reported via desktop in the Traffic lights (NH) category anonymously at 12:41, Fri 3 December 2021

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3157846.

The controlled pedestrian crossing in Chideock is not working. This is very dangerous for people trying to cross the road to the shop.

Please fix with utmost despatch.

Updates

  • My report was from comments I received earlier. I have just tried the crossing myself both ways and it worked fine - although I maintain that the 30 second delay is too long, and may be causing people to think they aren't working.
