People are ignoring the temporary traffic lights due to roadworks.

Reported via mobile in the Roadworks (NH) category anonymously at 20:34, Mon 22 November 2021

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3138209.

There are currently road works going on shutting Bingham road, therefore temporary traffic lights have been set up opposite Hillside and golf road. I use this road as a pedestrian Monday-Friday around 3:15-3:45pm. I have noticed that many drivers ignore the traffic lights, when the light is red they still proceed to go through the light, last week I was almost ran over by a car who had ignored the red light and then got angry with me for crossing the road, even though it was a red light and a green man. I feel quite unsafe using the traffic lights as I feel people don’t respect them. Thanks
