Muddy roads

Reported via mobile in the Roadworks (NH) category anonymously at 15:58, Thu 18 November 2021

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3131335.

The road is excessively muddy due to the shear number of lorries in and out of the construction site. The road sweeper doesn’t seem to be here today and he didn’t go all the way to bradford road last week anyway. Needs to clean more than just entrance to the construction site . Also the lorries are churning up the grass as the road is not wide enough

  • Thank you for contacting National Highways with regards to mud and wagons from a construction site. Looking at the location this appears to be with regards to work on the Interchange 26 project approved under Kirklees council . National highways are only responsible for the M606 in this location and as such ware sorry but we are unable to help in this matter and can only suggest you contact Kirklees Council regarding the sweeping on 01484 456868. . I trust the above information is of help to you. If you require any further information, National highways can be contacted on 0300 123 5000 or email info@highwaysengland.co.uk.
