Inadequate explanations re A14 diversion

Reported via mobile in the Sign issue (NH) category anonymously at 22:20, Fri 12 November 2021

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3120905.

No information about where eastbound A14 traffic has to go after roadworks cause diversion along A11. Does it go to Thetford and then return to A14 at Bury St. Edmunds?

  • Thank you for contacting National Highways.

I would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused due to the lane closures on the A14.

The diversion route of A134/A11 has been agreed with Suffolk Council as the best and most suitable roads to take A14 traffic. For details of the phases of work we are currently on and diversion routes please refer to the website link below.
