Overgrown vegetation and litter.

Reported via desktop in the Vegetation (grass/hedges/trees) (NH) category anonymously at 21:27, Mon 8 November 2021

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3112132.

Whilst the M6 is under development for a smart motorway, It would be beneficial to clear the roundabout at Jct 22 of litter and vegetation that has overgrown. The slip road to Jct 22 north bound is also full of litter. Some road signage is covered over. This issue has been steadily getting worse for months/year.

Updates

  • Thank you for contacting National Highways.

We're responsible for the slip roads at junction 22. For issues on the island itself you should contact Warrington Borough Council. We'll investigate the slip roads whilst we carry out our works in the area.

    Kind regards National Highways
