No work being done on M6 for months

Reported via mobile in the Roadworks (NH) category anonymously at 08:50, Sat 6 November 2021

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3107477.

Hello, I drive from Manchester to Cambridge twice a week for work. I have done this for many months. The stretch of M6 between Jct 15 and Jct 12 has been 60 mph for roadworks throughout yet no roadworks are being conducted, nothing has changed on the motorway for months. If there are no works going on please can you take the 60mph average speed limit away? It significantly slows the journey, 20 miles is quite a way when nothing is actually happening.
