Overgrown cycleway by the side of the A46 Warwickshire

I contacted Warwickshire County Council and they informed me that this was The Highways Agency's responsibility. Over the last couple of months nettles have been invading the cycleway by the side of the A46. On Sunday on trying to cycle the route that links to Snitterfield I found that the cycleway was totally impassable due to the nettles having totally overgrown the path. The only choice was to either cycle along the A46 - pretty dangerous, or return home. Neither was what I was expecting when starting on my cycle ride. Hopefully this can be rectified, otherwise a very pleasant cycle route will no longer be viable.
