Insufficient road signage from A1079 (Dunnington) to A64 (Scarborough)

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3096624.

While driving from the A1079 Dunnington towards the A64 (Scarborough) there are no physical road signs telling you to move across from the right hand lane (York/Scarborough) into the far left lane to approach the slip road onto the A64. Only 2 short signs painted on the road which are often obscured by traffic. Really dangerous as drivers switch lanes at last moment.
