Flooding on flyover (Exeter bound) towards the end of flypver
Reported via mobile in the Flooding/drainage (NH) category anonymously at 07:43, Thu 21 October 2021
Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3075452.
I was driving home yesterday and there was a steam of water across the carriageway. It had a big impact on the control I had over my car. This was at 50 mph. My partner told me she aquaplaned the previous evening (hence my speed). The water was coming from the Plymouth bound carriageway.

We're sorry to hear about your partners aquaplaning incident and appreciate you taking the time to contact us with your concerns. Based on the information you've provided we suspect this could be caused by blocked drains at the end of the bridge deck.
The maintenance team for the A38 have been made aware for further investigation and to arrange for these to be cleared.
