Lane markings badly positioned

Reported via desktop in the Road markings (NH) category anonymously at 10:29, Tue 19 October 2021

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3071181.

The lane markings force raffic into one lane immediately after exiting the roundabout when previously they allowed much longer to merge. coupled with the decreased angle of the painted bend to join the carriage way which is also reduced in length this significantly increases the potential for dangerous conflict while restricting visibility on this section of road. It is dangerous and the old layout reinstated. It has gone from being a single lane on the roundabout and two on the slip way to effectively two on the roundabout and one on the slip way. this is almost designed to create conflict and crashes.
