Ashcombe roundabout
Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3064921.
The lights on the roundabout go to green. The lights on the A277 have already turned red, with a three second delay.
But the lights on the main A27 from Brighton are held at red for a further 12 seconds. Making a total allowance of 15 seconds.
This makes no sense. It will lead to drivers thinking that the lights are faulty. Red light offences will follow.
The change was made about four weeks ago. Before then, there was no lengthy hold back.
