Slip road onto M56 Junction 6 dangerous

Reported via mobile in the Roadworks category anonymously at 17:17, Tuesday 12 October 2021

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later

The current upgrading of the M56 to a Smart motorway has resulted in an unsafe change to the Junction 6 Northbound slip road from the Hale Barns roundabout by using the hardshoulder as a slip lane, the run in from this lane is not adequate ( too short ) and there is poor visibility causing cars to have to make sudden moves into the main carriageway - this is extremely dangerous and I have witnessed a number of near misses in the last week or so - I’m sure that it it’s only a matter of time before a serious collision occurs
