Cycle path dangerous to use

Reported via desktop in the Vegetation (grass/hedges/trees) category anonymously at 09:43, Tuesday 12 October 2021

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later

The cycle path that runs from caxton gibbet roundabout to edge of st noets road is in need of serious maintenance.

I understand from cambridge county council is has not been handed over to them and you are responsible for the path. I understand their are defect and hedging issues to be resolved. It was never sorted as part if the a428 upgrade

However in the meantime it needs someone to go and cut it all back and sweep so its actually useable and no longer a safety hazard for cyclists. With the upgrade of the a428 from black cat to caxton gibbet a new cycle path is being constructed to join this one which will be pointless if the current one is not fixed and maitained.
