Leafmold cuasing pedestrian obtsacle on busy highway

Reported via desktop in the Pavement/footpath issue category anonymously at 07:08, Monday 4 October 2021

Sent to National Highways 3 days, 27 minutes later

The footpath on the north side of the A36 between Devonshire Road and St George's Hill (Bathampton) has become narrowed and blocked by an accumulation of decayed leafs and soil over the past few years and poses a hazard to pedestrians, who have to walk on the edge of the path, close to the road. The problem is particularly dangerous at night because the tree canopy prevents street lights from fully illuminating the pavement.
