Speed bump on the motorway

Reported via mobile in the Road surface category anonymously at 22:06, Thursday 23 September 2021

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later

There is an issue with road surface just before junction 3 towards M42/M40. The road has come up and formed a speed bump like obstruction over all 3 lanes. This is causing significant damage to cars. Road users who are aware of the issue are usually slowing down before this bump causing emergency breaking by other road users. It has become increasingly worse over the last couple months.

  • This bump is now even worse. Yesterday at approximately 15:00 I damaged my two front wheels going over this. My driver's side front tyre deflated instantly. The passenger side front tyre deflated over the next few hours. Expect legal action to be taken
